ENCLOSURE
The Regional Museum of Querétaro is an enclosure that belongs to the INAH . It is located in one of the most significant buildings in the Queretaro capital, the Grande de San Francisco convent, with a history that began around 1540, linked to the conquest and settlement undertaken by the Otomi chiefs and the friars of the Franciscan order.

Querétaro in Mexican History
In the rooms of the museum it contains collections that collect the history of Mexico and particularly of Querétaro in order to preserve and show the artistic and historical wealth of the country and Querétaro. In the collections we can find archaeological, colonial, ethnographic and contemporary pieces , made up of lithics, ceramics, sculptures, paintings, furniture, clothing, weapons, photographs and documents. There is also the most important collection of the viceroyalty , from the 19th century.

Open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
General admission $65.00 MXN
Free entry for nationals over 60 years of age (INAPAM credential), people with disabilities, teachers and students (current credential) and children under 13 years of age.
Sunday free entry
Mandatory use of face masks during access and throughout the tour.
